Spent 19.00 for prescription meds today

Walked for 1 1/2 miles tonight.

I want to walk daily - so tonight was a start.

Working on the next grocery list and menu tonight.

Will work a few hours tonight - hoping we will be busy!

Spent 4.24 at Walgreens for batteries and juice for dson's lunchbox
Also spent 4.54 to mail my mom her birthday present.

Total spending today 8.78

Cooked the pumpkin and pureed it - got 22 bags with 2 cups each in them to make pumpkin goodies throughout the year. I froze them in seal a meal bags to take less space in the freezer. Normally I would of used plastic containers but didn't have enough room in the freezer for this.

Decided not to work tonight - I wasn't scheduled so no biggie. But my mouth is starting to hurt really bad on one side. Will call tomorrow am and see if this is normal. Still have tons of swelling and it's soooooooo sore. I can't take any pain meds as they make me very sick. So it's been a rough weekend.

Got $15 in gas for my car today.
Spent $15 at walgreens for pictures for dd and some dishwashing liquid.

Well I got my 2 bottom wisdom teeth out friday. - $170.40 was our portion. Why are dentists soooooooo expensive!! Greatful that it was ONLY that much but still!

Worked on November budget and have it set it up. Made a grocery list and finished up grocery shopping last week. Should be good to go for a couple weeks.

A/C is back on. It's been soooooooo warm here again! I have it set at 80 but still I want it off this time of year.

Cooking the pumpkin now that we set out for decoration in October - Will puree it up and freeze to make cookies, pumpkn bread and other goodies later on.

Made my mom a pillow for her birthday - I had all the grandchildren sign it. It looks really nice and only cost me about $2.50 to make. Frugal and something I know she will love.

Working on a moutainload of laundry today and as soon as I get it caught up - all will be hung on the line again.

I will probably work a few hours tonight - my mouth is still hurting on my right side, but I am talking fine. So should be able to work. Could really use the extra $$ right now. It's all for the cash christmas I am dreaming of.

~laundry in cold water - less detergent
~hang on drying racks
~Washing dishes by hand - this saves us $$ also. We have a dishwasher but only use it part time (and only use 2 T of dishwasher det in it).
~wipe out the freezer/refrig and reorganize it
~straighten pantry
~no a/c again - there's a cold front and it's great!
~dust the ceiling fans - now that they have been off for a few days I see how dusty they are.
~work a few more hours tonight
~conference call for work tonight at 8pm
~ take son to work tonight and pick him up at 9pm


Well off to have a fabulous day!! It's all in the attitude ya know?

I have needed my hair layered for some time now. I finally went and did it last night - $12 but sooooooooo worth it. So I end up spending some $$ yesterday but that's ok.

Well I am on a mission to save some $$$, pay for a wisdom tooth that has to come out and have a CASH christmas!
My frugal goals for this week:
~hang dry most of the laundry on the drying racks
~eat from the pantry/freezer
~make a menu for the next month sometime this week
~grocery shop on friday - sticking to the list that goes with the menu plan
~washing all laundry in cold water
~using less detergent about 3/4 less than bottle tells you to and not having any problems with things getting clean
~no a/c on finally!! LOL

I have a part time job working from home and will be increasing my hours the next few weeks to meet some goals. I can set a goal of $$ I want to make and then work until I get that amount - so that's my goal for Nov and Dec. Wish me luck!
